The street I am on in Sevilla is a major one to get out of the city on and since mid February it's been closed for repair. The above link explains the project. Two sided coin, there is much less traffic noise but the drilling is loud and dusty. It only took them a day or so to do the bit under my window so it wasn't too bad.

My first attempt to see it failed for a couple of reasons, it was Andalucia Day a public holiday and the first really rainy day, oh, and my camera battery died. Everyone else in the city had the same idea, so I left without seeing most of it and just in time, crowds lined up to get in were long. My second attempt worked much better, weekday and no rain so here are a few pictures of the many, many works they are showing. I didn't take note of the artists names my bad.

I liked this one, clearly an aristocrat who has the ability and time to read.

I liked their smiles.

Yesterday, Sunday was an eventful day. We had a procession come down the street from the Museo brotherhood. I didn't get the memo, but heard unusual noise for a Sunday and the road closure so peered out as did my neighbours.

Came back inside to find I had no electricity. The building community uses Whatsapp to communicate so we did and it came back on in about an hour, whew, being Sunday I didn't know how long it would be out.

I stay in touch with Angela and Ryan, they are in the U.S. and itching to come to Spain or anywhere in Europe, we do not talk politics together. This is their current project https://egoproof.com/pages/inquiries

Last week Rocio took me for lunch, in the rain, and we went to the Lebanon restaurant where I'd been with Pepe. It was packed, lots of English spoken and Rocio wasn't a fan of the food. She is Spanish born and raised and hasn't travelled much so the tastes were foreign to her. I felt bad, so next time she's here, I will get her to pick the restaurant and I will gladly pay.

Weather the last few weeks here reminds me of a saying in Calgary, Alberta "if you like/don't like the weather, wait five minutes".
