Semana Santa 2017 in Pictures

This event has me gobsmacked, the hordes of people watching; the hordes of people participating; the elaborate procession statues; the unseen guys under the statues that carry it on their backs for kilometres and for hours. It is absolutely incredible! Here are a few pictures.

This one turned the corner, amazing work by the people underneath! They can't see anything, relying on knocks on the statue itself.
